The Western Regional Command of the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS), has arrested 31 alleged prostitutes and human traffickers within the region. The suspects were arrested for their notorious activities in the Ellembelle District and Nzema East Municipality of the Western Region. Ghana retained its position in Africa as the most indebted country to the International Monetary Fund as the country’s loan to the Fund shot up by 35.3% in the second quarter of 2023.
